Having individual student copies of this text will open many new doors for learning for my students. Seeing the printed word on the page helps students with vocabulary, spelling patterns, and observing author's craft! In addition, this is a great tool to help students who are absent to continue to keep up with our classroom story. This has been a great tool for any student who may need to quarantine or learn from home. Having their own copy of The Fighting Ground text will keep everyone engaged in reading, grammar, and social studies!
