All of our students want to learn to play an instrument. Our third graders have enjoyed the recorders provided last year and are hungry for more. The xylophones and keyboard will provide more opportunities for our students to experience music in a more hands-on way and will be available to more than just our third graders; all grades can enjoy these instruments, K-4. These materials will help my students have a hands-on approach to music and will help foster creativity and understanding. Giving students the opportunity to create music through instruments and singing, touches all facets of childhood development: physical development, emotional development, intellectual development, social development, and creative development. Thank you for your help in making this school year a success for our students!
