Having flex seating available within my classroom will allow my students to learn in an environment where they are comfortable. Most of my students are on medication for ADD or ADHD, which plays a major factor in their ability to focus. Often times they are leaning in their chairs, standing, or pacing. The flex beanbag seating and lap desk will allow for a more cozy and relaxing learning environment. By providing them with the choice of which seating they prefer, I hope they will be able to stayed focused and concentrate on what they are doing. I believe that by having flex seating, it will encourage the students to stay on task, knowing that if they do not the new seating could be taken away at anytime. Even high school students get excited about new things as simple as bean bags and lap desk.
