The funds that I am requesting will allow me to attend this conference and take part in workshops led by some of the top educators who are experts at what they do. I will be able to learn and engage in hands on experiences that will provide me with the tools and strategies that I can implement in my classroom with my amazing group of students.
I work at a Title I school as an Intervention teacher who gets to work with a unique group of students in a small group setting, providing them the extra love and attention they need in order to perform at grade level and reach academic success.
I will be able to engage in activities that teach and promote differentiated learning in the classroom, which will give me the tools to practice adjusting my teaching to further meet the academic needs of the unique students I work with on a daily basis; student who all learn differently. This two-day conference will provide me with an invaluable experience and one of a kind knowledge that I will be able to bring back with me to the classroom. With this experience, I can improve my skills and methods that will ultimately and positively benefit and impact my students; it will give them an equal opportunity to learn.
