Remote learning has been difficult for my students. They miss the interaction of having a teacher near and being able to show their work and watch as the teacher models how to solve multi-step equations. The document camera will allow students to see me modeling proper steps and procedures on the spot. Having the document camera that feeds directly into the computer will enable the students to watch in real time. I am currently using a personal white board and holding it to the Zoom camera to demonstrate mathematics. While students are attending school in person using a white board on different surfaces will enable students to be safely socially distant and still show their work and model their procedures to the class.
