In the earliest years, students learn about the world by taking on and exploring the roles that they see. This dramatic play is crucial for development of a healthy, well rounded sense of self that forms the basis for interpersonal relationships. Especially given the challenges of the pandemic, children need a stimulating environment to explore their feelings through playing out everyday parts of their lives, such as preparing and sharing food. By providing the children with new furniture to serve as the backdrop for their play, we as a community show then that we value and care for them.

About my class
