More and more we see students struggle to read! It is important to get them engaged and find a genre they'll fall in love with! The more passionate they are to read the more they will want to read. There is just something amazing about owning a brand new book that can be their's! I want to continue to work on various comprehension strategies with my students. The more engaged they are in the text, the more they understand. If they read books that they like, they will take more risks to read more rigorous books as well. These books will be a great resource for parents to want to engage in their child's literature and make efforts to use inferential questioning.

About my class
