These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because my special education students deserve an environment where they are comfortable, stimulated, and engaged. My students require sensory integration tools and unique supports to help them to be active participants in their learning. Flexible seating will allow my students to move around the classroom, foster their creativity, and increase their collaboration. The STEM and fidget toys will provide my students with sensory input and will help them to be more available for learning. My ultimate goals are to help my students to access the curriculum and to create an environment where they feel safe and available for learning.
