Sitting in a cold plastic chair from the 90's all day can be very uncomfortable and physically exhausting. Even with movement incorporated, students find it difficult to focus during lessons. Everything that has been chosen will be able to help our diverse community of learners focus on learning, while being comfortable. Multiple seating options in our classroom have been very helpful for students with physical disabilities and attentional challenges. We have been slowly adding new seating options but are finding that our students still have limited options and often race to get a comfy spot! Our goal is to eventually have enough alternative seating option for each classroom on our team!
