I am first teacher building up a brand new classroom. We are trying to take four blank walls and make the classroom into a welcoming environment for the students. Academics are a large part of what we do in our classroom, but their is a need for support materials for social emotional learning. Sensory experiences provide social emotional support for my students by giving them confidence to explore new experiences. They are motivated to learn and having the learning be hands on and student driven enables the students to have fun, but most importantly to really have the concepts be valued by the students.

About my class
