Help me to provide the opportunity of learning through play with LEGO! Working with LEGO bricks will help my students to build communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Kindergarten is a year of social-emotional as well as academic learning. Manipulatives such as LEGO bricks provide students with a creative outlet while they work to construct their understanding of social interactions, especially cooperation and teamwork. These particular sets will also help to provide my students with opportunities to use their imagination relating to community members and landmarks. I hope to use LEGO kits during morning work time, centers, and as a break for students with special learning needs. Thank you for supporting the unique, young learners in my classroom!
