Small children are not built to sit still all day. They are often out of their seats, wanting movement around the room. If they are required to sit to do any work, it would be highly beneficial if they had flexible seating. The seats I am interested in require the students to use their core muscles to sit at a table. They have the choice to do some bouncing while completing tasks. I believe this opportunity for movement and "wiggle room" will increase student engagement when required to do sit down tasks. Right now, my students sit in standard seats provided by the school. They are hard to sit in and my students are often up and moving around. They needs seats that are unique and different. They need seats that are soft and allow movement. The seats I have chosen do that and so much more. They also require the young students to keep their balance and work their muscles while sitting.
