My project consists of helping students concentrate more on their learning. Over fifty percent of my class has high energy. Some of those children live with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I am not a fan of medicating children so I often try to find other strategies that can help them cope with their unique of learning styles. Offering all of my students stability balls will allow them to move in place as they work on their assignments. I have asked other second grade teachers around the country who use them and their testimonies all support the effectiveness of the stability balls.
