Through my project, it is my hope to further develop the social emotional skills and emotional regulation strategies of children who need it most! In partaking in various activities in both counseling sessions and whole group instruction, I plan on utilizing these materials, including books, activities, and games to help students learning about themselves, others, and the world around them. I am a firm believer that a child cannot succeed academically unless social emotional needs are being met; thus it is my philosophy to provide children with the necessary tools to help them grow into the best versions of themselves.

About my class
