The students of my room are 5th graders attending a K-6 elementary school in Northern California. We are an economically disadvantaged, 100% free lunch program school. My students are hands-on learners, who are very active and love to share their work immediately. They need to have manipulatives, something to take notes on, or complete and share their work on. Dry erase boards provide the opportunities for mobility and active participation by all. We are a busy class and are up moving around getting the extra support needed with our math and science curriculum.
