2nd graders get such an awesome opportunity with their reading! They aren't learning how to sound out their words anymore - they get to actually READ and start UNDERSTANDING their stories! It's what makes reading in 2nd grade so fun! 2nd graders feel like REAL READERS once they hit those chapter books! Unfortunately, my classroom library is pretty low on the lower level chapter books - which many of my students are starting at as they come into my classroom! Please help me stock my classroom library with chapter books my students will YEARN to read! Help continue growing the LOVE of reading in my students!
