These materials will give the students some of the fundamental elements of a classroom that students need and deserve as they are doing rigorous mental work. The printer allows teachers access to materials especially for ELL students (worksheets, game sheets, readings...etc). The white noise machine will allow students the ability to better concentrate in a room that is situated between many distracting sounds. The heater will hopefully allow the students some warmth, especially as we are approaching the harsh Buffalo winter months. The journals will allow a small and hopefully safe space for them to communicate with me daily and will be housed in the room. I am excited to be able to make our room just a little more accessible for students who may have negative feelings associated with school.
