These materials will make a difference in my class by showing students the process of writing and recording when we investigate or retain new information. I want my children who come in my class to feel the cross curriculum connections. With strong centers and integrating writing, they will have a strong foundation to succeed in higher grades. My goal is to have my students writing daily in their journals to support the lessons we learned through the day through both writing and sketching. This will help with retention by causing children to go back and reflect on what they did during an experiment .
