Flexible seating is an essential part of an integrative classroom that gives students the ability to choose how they want to sit and learn for how their body is feeling each day! As a kindergarten teacher, I believe strongly in the power of giving children choice. These flexible seating options for our classroom will allow every one of my kids the ability to assess their own needs, how their body is feeling, and connect that to their learning so that we can be successful this year regardless of their ability to sit still for long periods of time at a table or during large group. These options will be available around our room to empower my students to make choices to be comfortable while they're learning and in their ability to learn.
