I have been using my 10-year old printer at home, and going across the street to make copies for my students. Many of them a 2-3 grade levels behind and struggle in math. They are more successful when they have physical examples in their hands, or access to paper test/quizzes so they can more easily analyze and reflect on their work. They are incredibly intelligent and are very capable of succeeding with grade-level material, they just require more creative lessons and resources than what I currently have available. The majority of my students do not have printers at home, and some of the lack access to internet or a computer. Paper worksheets and assignments help me give them the feedback they deserve to learn, grow and be successful.
