Students in yoga class are ALL in different stages of strength and flexibility. More and more, students are lacking the strength and flexibility needed to hold yoga poses of long periods of time. To hold poses longer... or at all, students tend to sacrifice proper form which can lead to injuries. By using yoga blocks, students have a stabling factor helping them hold poses while using proper form. It's a great tool for those who lack the strength or flexibility needed to complete some yoga poses. Blocks help students with their confidence in yoga as well - because they can participate in many yoga poses even if they lack some strength.
