My students learn best when learning through a game. Students will be able to search for sight words while playing a game. For example, I will introduce a new sight word a day and they will be able to add it to their word game. By the last day of school, students should be able to recognize all sight words in the game. Students will be able to use the sight word game during the summer, which will help them return to school with a full bank of vocabulary knowledge. Students will also receive a magnetic ten frame that will be used during the "We do and I Do" portion of math lessons. Students will be able to actively participate by manipulating blue and red counters.
