In my math classroom, I am trying to differentiate more and provide supplemental math options for students who are truly struggling to understand. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in math. For example, the different items like Tangrams, counters and centimeter cubes will allow for hands-on exploration of math lessons. The timer will help remind students and me of time restraints for each activity we do together (or in small groups). The book bins will help my math stations remain organized so materials don't go missing. Overall the materials will be extremely helpful in providing differentiation for students who are in need of extra support.
