Since we have limited instruments in my classroom, I’m always looking for ways to make my lessons more hands on for the students. These handbells would allow every student to have a hands-on way of participating in the music! My students get extremely excited when handling new instruments. Many of them have never touched a real instrument or even observed an instrument in person. Since the handbells are color coordinated, I would hold up a color at a specific time within the song, and each student holding that color would ring their bell! This would create a beautiful accompaniment to a limitless amount of songs! My students will be ecstatic.
