If I get multicultural books and play materials, it will provide children with real life experience. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. Multicultural clothes and dolls will enhance children's make believe play. As I believe children learn best though play. My project will promote children's language and literacy. It will provide them with different vocabulary. Since it is related to most children's culture, it will make them feel welcome. Also I have 'lending Library' in the classroom. Some parents can not read and understand English. Books in Hindi will be helpful to those parents. Parents can borrow books from class library and read to child at home too.
