In our classroom, we gather every morning on the perimeter of the rug to check-in, greet one another, and set goals for our day. This space and this moment grounds us and connects us. It builds our relationships and prepares us to be successful learners and friends each day. Having a clean, welcoming space to be together and share these moments, is essential to our school experience. Not only will we hold our morning meetings on this spacious and inviting rug, but we will read stories, learn reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and social emotional lessons. If everything you need to know, you learn in Kindergarten, then you know that we will cherish this rug space each day!
