Hi! I am a first year computers teacher at M.V. Elementary. When I was assessing my students and their needs, I quickly noticed they were lacking in some areas of technology. Through research, I realized most students in the nation are learning how to code in elementary school, which is an area that my school does not have resources to cover. These resources are too expensive for me to purchase on my own and are out of my current school year budget. I would love to be able to bring them to my classroom and help keep them in line with other elementary aged kids in the nation! There are many other areas that need emphasis, but this is only the first step towards getting all the students in our district experience in these areas!
