We need more music stands and instrument tuners for our classroom. Music literacy is a big component of our program, so music stands which hold up music for reading and studying are essential. Unfortunately, since we've been growing (over 100+ students and counting...) we no longer have enough music stands for our classes of 25 and up! I'm a big proponent of teaching students self sufficiency. Violins aren't easy to tune when you're just starting out. Until, young ears are trained sufficiently, its easy to pop strings by accidentally turning the tuning pegs too tight! Oops. These digital tuners identify and display the pitch the string is sounding at so new players can tune the instrument themselves!
