Making Matchbook Summary Folders is a way for students to organize the chapters of a book. They will make a summary for each chapter on the inside of each paper and color there favorite part of each chapter on the outside. They will also decorate the outside of the manila folder with the cover of the book we are reading. I am hoping that Matchbook Summary Folders will help each one of my students raise there reading levels. I have mostly struggling learners. I think with a better understanding of what they are reading they will become better readers and hopefully, one day love to read books.
