The Story time rug is not just a focal point in our Library. I see every student in the school at least once a week during Library class. Every class that comes to the library will begin that day's lesson on the rug. I would like to provide my school with a comfortable, spacious place to enjoy stories or have class meetings. This rug will provide students with one more place to develop their love of books. After students have checked out their books, they can use the rug as a place where they can read silently or read with a friend. Having comfortable options for independent reading is crucial for student growth. Students need to have a place, beyond the desk, where reading to learn and reading for pleasure can take place.

About my class
