"Publish" is the last step in the CCSS Language Arts. For 5 years students have copied, punched, and manually assembled the end-of-year compendium of 5 pages of their self-selected best writing. Now with over 50 students taking the course, this task has become daunting. The current little machine punches 4-5 pages, and the volume is prohibitive - 5 pages x 50 students x 50 copies (plus another 15 to share with Administrators). Sending the project out for printing and binding is too expensive ($8 +per book). A better comb binding machine makes manageable the publication of "Kindle This" which celebrates great student writing.
