The AVID shirts will be worn to community and school events, field trips, and regularly at school. These t-shirts will give them pride in being a part of the AVID family. It will build strong rapport among their peers and allow them to promote AVID in their community. By promoting AVID, we hope to build our program and hopefully become a site of distinction. Because our school and program is so new, the AVID students and I would like to build through being great role models of the school, and the shirts will allow them to tell others about us. The students will wear their AVID t-shirts on field trips to various colleges. They will also wear their AVID attire around school will promote academic achievement and send the message that hard work is cool!
