My students enjoy being physical outdoors and love to learn new skills that will help them become better at playing a specific sport, or exercising. I also have students who have learning disabilities such as ADHD, ADD, or physical disabilities where I have to provide accommodations for their learning. Students face unique social and emotional challenges. Kids are facing greater pressures earlier in life, and feel more stress and anxiety than ever before. Being able to provide meditation and mindfulness with the yoga mats will give all my students the opportunity to develop a lifelong capacity for greater self-awareness, concentration, patience, and resilience.
