In order to increase reading interest and critical-thinking skills that my students need to succeed, I would like to order TIME for Kids this year. TIME for Kids is a current-events magazine that brings reliable and relevant nonfiction text and primary sources into the classroom. With TIME for Kids, my students will be able to read nonfiction articles about real events and issues that are important to them. Topics cover a wide range—from social studies and science to national and world news and geography. Because TIME for Kids is written at an appropriate level for each grade, it helps both teachers and parents discuss current topics with students. It also helps students get excited to talk to one another about current events!
