These LEGO materials will allow opportunities to students in need of hands-on and kinesthetic learning experiences. The space theme and model rockets will enhance their lessons that they receive in their core math and science classes and increase their knowledge about important STEM concepts. Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Common Core standards will be a central and recurring theme to the use of these materials. Lessons and activities will be sequential and will be communicated with the student body and staff in order to ensure a thoughtful and enriching curriculum. By incorporating learning experiences that are precursors to those that students might see in high school, students will be given an early advantage in STEM fields.
