The supplies that I have chosen will help to create a centered guided reading corner for teacher lead and independent centers. As a first year teacher, my students would benefit from added resources in the classroom. The variety of supplies all have a useful purpose. The magnetic white board would be used for whole group instruction, and guided reading. from building cvc words, discussing main idea, to math interventions. The foot bands will be a safe outlet for students to release extra energy while at their seats. As a fist year teacher, I am building a classroom library. The books will help to build the classroom library to give the students more options in reading. The leveled books will be beneficial first readers to students to read independently. This project will benefit and enrich the learning of all of the students in our classroom!
