A new rug will help students in my classroom have a place to sit during our whole group math and reading instruction. Students will also be able to get in a circle on the rug more easily since the carpet has bees around the outside edge. The students get in a circle on the carpet for many different learning games we play. The rug is divided so each student will have their own place to sit. The current rug they sit on is very old and dirty. The custodians have tried everything they can to clean it. However it won’t come clean.
