Right now we don't have enough training balls for each player to have one. Additionally many of the balls we have are in poor condition and is only a matter of time before they are not usable. By having training balls for every player will allow us to ensure our practices are run efficiently and effectively. Players won't have to wait for a ball to work on the ball mastery drills we work on which I believe are the foundation of soccer. Another great benefit of having enough balls for each player is it will allow us to check-out a ball to each player at the beginning of the season which they will be required to return at the end of the season. The alternative is what we do now, count how many balls we have at the beginning of practice, and again at the end which is really a waste of at least 5 minutes of practice each day. We appreciate your consideration.
