In my classroom, students are expected to work at their highest capability. The outcome looks different for every single student. They have shown me in a very short amount of time that they are capable of making decisions that will help them achieve success. I have one wobble stool in my classroom that many students have benefited from, but it isn't enough. I know that if a student is comfortable they are likely to stay motivated and focused. Comfort doesn't mean the same thing for every student. My students have shown be that they need choices beyond their desk and chair. They ask to move to an isolated area. They ask to stand at their desk. They ask for our wobble stool. I need to be able to fill their needs. I would appreciate any support towards my goal.
