I can use the flex-space double-sided mobile teaching easel in many ways in my K/1 combination classroom. The best way is to use it in my small group instruction. I teach small group reading groups daily and ELL reading intervention 4 times a week. When learning how to read and write, students benefit from having visuals and the mobile teaching easel is the ideal tool for their success. The mobile teaching easel is so functional that it can be used to write on and it is also magnetic. It can hold anchor charts, pocket charts and it has the capacity to store bins underneath. The mobile teaching easel is also a useful tool for teaching math because it is the right height for students to share their thinking and present to the class how they were able to solve their problem. By having a place to keep visuals up for students while we are learning will help guide and enhance my instruction across the curriculum in all subject areas. My class is filled with young learners and it is important for them to be able to move around and for me to instruct any subject from anywhere in the classroom.
