Forensic science is an area of science that interests and excites my students about science! The best way for them to learn the principles and concepts learned in the classroom is through hands on activities. This project will allow my students to actively work on a 'crime scene investigation' so they will be able to put what they have learned into practice. Active learning is the best way to absorb the information taught in a classroom, and by participating in these activities my students will be able to get a first hand glimpse into a working forensics environment.
