I have requested a class set of 2 books that will be used for novel studies in my classroom. Engaging in a novel study comes with many benefits. Through novel studies, students collaborate, gain background and world exposure, build vocabulary, increase communication and dialogue skills, and grow an increased appreciation and love for reading. In addition, these novel studies address many of the 4th grade language arts standards.
