I am a third year teacher and with this pandemic I have not had a whole first year in the classroom. I want to impact my students learning from the very beginning. I was skeptical about flexible seating, but once I saw the effectiveness it had on my students in my student teaching experience I learned quickly it is important for them to have it. As I have struggled with this pandemic, my students have been through something as kids none of us saw as kids. It i shard for them to stay put for hours and hours at a time. My students' schedule is 11:30-3:16 straight academics with no breaks everyday and flexible seating transitions can help adjust their energy in a positive way in the classroom. I want to offer them a learning experience they will never forget and an environment that they can learn from in different ways.
