Gone are the days when students spend all day at their desk. Structured active play is one on the most important ways young children learn and group or circle time offers countless opportunities for learning. This rug will let my students stretch their legs while they stretch their mind. All of our group lessons are taught on the rug making it a vital part of our classroom. Research demonstrates that group or circle time on the rug improves socialization and listening skills. Children learn to pay attention and respect for others. The rug give students a safe place to move which helps with gross motor skills. It is also a great form of exercise.
