My students are patiently waiting for me to acquire enough Chromebooks so that each child can have one to use. They’re fourth graders with very different needs. We have licenses for curricula that is adaptable depending on a child’s reading level, writing ability, and math fluency, but we need the technology. We need just a few more Chromebooks so that we all can get to work. Access to technology is the trend for elementary students. They love it! And with all of the kids occupied with meaningful learning, I can have time to work with a small group on specific needs, or even with a child one-on-one.
