These books will benefit both of our 7th grade classrooms at Mifflin this year as well as for many years to come. The Hunger Games provides engaging content which will tie in perfectly to our science fiction unit. The strong, relatable protagonists will push our students to challenge stereotypes and social class organization. Reading this text will allow us to focus on a variety of literary concepts such as tone, conflict, foreshadowing, propaganda, and so much more! We would love to have our class set of novels after the new year. Any donation amount is extremely appreciated. Thank you!
