This 3-D printer will allow my students to bring previously hard to imagine objects and concepts to life! Students are required to consider concepts such as scale models and envisioning the size relationship between objects. With this project, we will be able to use the skills to measure and scale objects, such as the solar system, and then bring those concepts to life! This will allow a greater collaboration between the science and mathematics classrooms. The project has been carefully put together to include enough materials to keep the students printing all year long! The best way to increase student engagement is to actively involve them in learning!
