I currently have over 40 students in my Biology classes who together have 7 different native languages other than English. Some of them only arrived in the United States weeks ago and their English is extremely limited (if existent at all). We have no provided resources to help these students achieve success in our classes. Every word, both written and verbal, must be translated for them to understand the content, connect with their peers, and most importantly, remain safe in the lab. We must make sure the safety rules and directions are completely understood. We need tablets to allow these students to make those translations for a successful year in Biology! Don't let their ideas and thoughts get trapped by a language barrier!

About my class
