The candy, sensory toys, and treasure chest items will be rewards and incentives used to motivate my students to reach their individual academic and social goals. My students often do not volunteer answers or share their thoughts and ideas with the class. However, they are highly motivated by tangible items like candy and small toys, pens or notebooks. My students are more willing to participate and complete assignments when even the smallest incentive, like a piece of candy, is offered. These simple items are not just a toy or piece of candy. They are tools that will reinforce learning and instill confidence in themselves.
