These books will be used to continue fostering students love of reading, as well as continuing to build their reading comprehension by reading high interest reading materials via AR program. What is AR (Accelerated Reader)? How does it work? Students select and read AR books, then take short comprehension quizzes. Accelerated Reader scores each student’s quiz. The AR program allows the teacher, parents and students to share in the information about the student’s progress in Accelerated Reader-reading comprehension. After students finish taking a quiz, if they passed the quiz, they are able to see the missed questions by clicking the Review Missed Questions button; they can select it to see the answers for the questions they get wrong. (For questions answered incorrectly, the answer will be circled and in red with an "X." The correct answer will be circled in green with a check mark.) Students are unable to retest on books
